About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of flight and ground test plans for space vehicle systems, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and safety standards.
- Design and implement test procedures, instrumentation setups, and data acquisition systems to capture critical performance metrics.
- Analyze test data using Python and MATLAB, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with systems, propulsion, and avionics engineers to troubleshoot test anomalies and recommend design improvements.
- Prepare detailed test reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in space vehicle test engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex test programs.
- Strong proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and test data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of flight test regulations, safety procedures, and quality assurance practices.
