Implementation Engineer
Lead the integration of space‑to‑ground architectures, ensuring seamless data flow, robust security, and reliable performance across satellite, launch, and ground platforms using advanced RF, embedded, and cybersecurity technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate end‑to‑end space‑to‑ground interfaces, ensuring compliance with mission and security requirements.
- Collaborate with satellite, launch, and ground teams to define integration plans, test procedures, and performance metrics.
- Lead hardware and software integration efforts, including RF link budget analysis, signal integrity, and embedded firmware integration.
- Conduct rigorous test & verification activities, from unit to system level, documenting results and driving corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls across the integration chain, ensuring data integrity and protection of classified information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in space or defense systems integration, with a strong background in ground station and RF communications.
- Proficiency in embedded systems development, test automation, and systems engineering tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and secure design practices.
- Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain) and willingness to work on classified projects.
