Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of satellite subsystems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with mission requirements using advanced engineering tools and cross‑functional collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate satellite subsystem concepts, including power, propulsion, and communications, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
- Lead systems integration activities, coordinating with hardware, software, and test teams to achieve seamless subsystem performance.
- Perform trade studies, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to optimize design and mitigate potential issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, and certification reports for regulatory and client approvals.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to troubleshoot integration challenges and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in satellite or space system engineering, with a strong grasp of avionics and subsystem integration.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CAD, and systems modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies and documentation standards.
