About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for space missions, from concept through launch and operations.
- Define architecture, interfaces, and performance requirements for propulsion, avionics, and payload subsystems.
- Coordinate cross‑disciplinary teams, manage schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct trade studies, simulations, and verification activities to meet stringent safety and reliability standards.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in space or defense systems engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
- Deep knowledge of propulsion, flight dynamics, avionics, and mission design.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain it.
