Key Responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate, and manage full‑cycle contracts for space‑related defense programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering, program management, and legal teams to define scope, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Conduct risk assessments, monitor contract performance, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, export controls, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, track milestones, and report status to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of contract management experience in the defense or aerospace sector.
- Valid security clearance (Secret or higher) required.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
