Space Communications Payload Systems Engineer - Boeing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, integration, and verification of space‑communications payloads for defense and space missions.
• Develop and maintain system architecture, functional specifications, and performance models for RF and satellite subsystems.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and risk to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Engage with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in space‑communications or satellite payload systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RF design, signal integrity, and satellite subsystem integration.
• Proven project management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one.
