Software Engineer
Provide expert technical support for SaaS-based technology value optimization solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, scripting automations, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for customers using Flexera’s SaaS platform, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and queries in Python and SQL to streamline support workflows and data analysis.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and cloud operations teams to reproduce bugs, provide detailed logs, and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Assist customers in integrating Flexera solutions with their on‑premises, SaaS, and cloud environments via REST APIs and cloud platform interfaces.
- Document support cases, knowledge‑base articles, and best‑practice guides to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in technical support or engineering for SaaS/cloud‑based products.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL query development for troubleshooting and data extraction.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Linux operating systems, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with IT asset management, FinOps, or technology value optimization is a plus.
