Solutions Engineer driving secure, governed data access across cloud platforms, leveraging Python, Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks to automate policy-based data provisioning for enterprise clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize data access solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS for large-scale enterprise customers.
- Develop Python scripts and automation workflows to enforce data governance policies and streamline access requests.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical pre‑sales support, including proof‑of‑concepts, architecture reviews, and performance tuning.
- Document solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting guides for internal use and customer reference.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or solutions architecture with a focus on cloud data platforms.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building data pipelines on Snowflake and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, IAM) and data security fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with data governance frameworks and policy‑based access control.
