About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor to banks and regulated financial entities, guiding them through the adoption of a global payments infrastructure platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations using Python and Node.js, ensuring high performance and security.
- Leverage AWS services to deploy scalable, resilient solutions that meet stringent compliance and data protection requirements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and roadmaps.
- Provide hands‑on support during onboarding, troubleshooting, and optimization of payment flows for institutional clients.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fintech or payments engineering, with a strong background in API development.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3).
- Deep understanding of payment protocols (ISO 20022, SWIFT, PSD2) and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, MiFID II).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with banks or regulated financial institutions is highly desirable.
