Design and deliver secure, cloud‑native solutions for national security programs, leveraging AWS, Azure, IaC, and automation to meet stringent compliance and mission‑critical requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of secure, scalable solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for intelligence and national security customers.
- Develop and enforce security controls, threat models, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, DoD) throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate deployment pipelines with Python scripting and CI/CD tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, program management, and operations teams to translate mission requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best‑practice documentation to ensure consistent, repeatable delivery of secure architectures.
Requirements
- Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher) and eligibility to work on classified projects.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, with deep expertise in AWS and Azure services.
- Proven knowledge of security architecture, risk assessment, and compliance standards such as NIST 800‑53, RMF, or DoD STIGs.
- Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation scripting in Python.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams delivering mission‑critical systems.
