Solutions Architect - Public Sector & EdTech - Amazon Web Services

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with independent software vendors (ISVs) to assess, design, and migrate their applications to AWS, emphasizing generative AI and agentic system capabilities.
• Develop reference architectures, proof‑of‑concepts, and best‑practice guides that showcase how AWS services can solve public‑sector challenges.
• Collaborate with ISV leadership and engineering teams to align product roadmaps with AWS services, security standards, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and hands‑on labs for ISV and public‑sector stakeholders to accelerate solution adoption.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for deployed solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS, preferably for public‑sector or education customers.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, IAM, CloudFormation) and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective architectures.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior technical and product leaders.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
