Solutions Architect
Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions for restaurant technology platforms, leveraging AWS, Azure, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes to meet performance and integration goals.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end cloud solutions that support high‑volume restaurant point‑of‑sale and digital ordering systems.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define technical requirements, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
- Design microservices‑based architectures, containerize workloads with Docker, and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for resilience and scalability.
- Evaluate, select, and configure AWS and Azure services (e.g., EC2, RDS, AKS, Lambda) to meet security, compliance, and cost‑optimization targets.
- Provide technical guidance, best‑practice documentation, and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud‑native solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross‑functional teams.
