Solutions Architect
Designs end‑to‑end enterprise solutions, defines target‑state architecture, and oversees the full software development lifecycle for mission‑critical government systems, leveraging cloud platforms, microservices, and secure API integrations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document target‑state enterprise architecture aligned with mission objectives and security requirements.
- Design and prototype end‑to‑end technical solutions, including cloud infrastructure, microservices, and API integrations.
- Provide technical oversight across all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, program managers, and development teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures.
- Establish and enforce best practices for Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps processes.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and solution design for government or defense contracts.
- Proficiency with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and experience implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams.
