Lead the design and delivery of secure, cloud‑based solutions for national security clients, leveraging AWS, advanced cybersecurity practices, and mission‑critical IT expertise to protect critical infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS for intelligence and national security stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate complex security requirements into robust technical designs.
- Lead technical workshops, provide guidance on best practices in cybersecurity, and ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Drive end‑to‑end project delivery, from feasibility studies through deployment and post‑implementation support.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, with a focus on cloud and cybersecurity.
- Proven expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, KMS) and secure architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of federal security frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, CJIS) and experience implementing them.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects in a fast‑paced environment.
