Lead the design of complex system architectures and drive technical capture efforts for DoD pursuits, creating winning proposals while leveraging cloud platforms and cybersecurity expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document end‑to‑end solution architectures that meet mission‑critical DoD requirements.
- Lead technical capture activities, shaping win strategies, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to develop compelling proposal content.
- Produce comprehensive technical proposal volumes, including system designs, integration plans, and compliance matrices.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and senior leadership to align technical solutions with business objectives and acquisition timelines.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and cloud services (AWS, Azure) for incorporation into solution designs while ensuring adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical capture for defense or federal contracts.
- Proven track record of winning large‑scale DoD proposals and delivering detailed technical documentation.
- Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, security frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST), and cloud architecture patterns.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive proposal narratives.
- Security clearance eligibility (active or ability to obtain).
