Lead the design and delivery of a scalable, resilient, near real‑time data processing platform using Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and machine learning to empower mission‑critical insights for a global defense partner.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve a distributed, containerized platform for ingesting, processing, and analyzing high‑volume time‑series data.
- Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and mission operations teams to define scalable, resilient system designs.
- Implement and optimize machine learning pipelines for real‑time analytics and insight generation.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and reliability standards required by defense partners.
- Guide and mentor cross‑functional teams on best practices for cloud architecture and deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing large‑scale, cloud‑native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on expertise in machine learning model deployment and time‑series analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks in a defense or regulated environment is a plus.
