Solution Data Architect responsible for designing an enterprise‑wide data architecture that enables seamless, governed data flow across core insurance systems, supporting the Connecting the Value Stream transformation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a unified, enterprise‑aligned data architecture that supports end‑to‑end insurance business processes.
- Design scalable data models, data contracts, and integration patterns to ensure data is captured once and reused across the value stream.
- Establish data governance standards, metadata management, and data quality frameworks to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with program teams, system owners, and platform engineers to integrate core Systems of Record with supporting analytics and reporting platforms.
- Guide the selection and implementation of cloud‑based data services, ETL pipelines, and storage solutions that meet performance, security, and cost objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and governing data architectures for large‑scale insurance or financial domains.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and ETL processes, with hands‑on experience in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and to communicate architecture decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
