Solutions Architect
Solution Architect focused on designing end-to-end UAV systems for defense and security, integrating AI-driven software with high-performance sensor technology to deliver real-time ISR capabilities.
About Quantum-Systems
At Quantum-Systems , we are redefining aerial intelligence. As a global leader in innovative UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) systems, we design and manufacture next-generation VTOL drones that combine cutting-edge AI-driven software and high-performance sensor technology. Our systems are deployed worldwide for defense, security, and commercial applications – enabling real-time aerial ISR capabilities that matter.
Your Mission
As a Solution Architect , you will drive the development of integrated system designs for our unmanned platforms used in demanding defense and security environments.. You will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and developing end-to-end solutions that balance business requirements, technical excellence, security standards, scalability, and cost. You ensure that solutions are robust, scalable, and mission-ready.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Lead and coordinate the architecture and design of ISR-focused aerial and other unmanned systems based on customer requirements, operational scenarios, and platform capabilities.
Define and drive system-level solutions that align with military standards and interoperability requirements (e.g., NATO, BAAINBw).
Collaborate cross-functionally with solution management, product management, software, and development teams to ensure technical coherence and mission effectiveness.
Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders (including defense customers, government bodies, and integration partners).
Produce and maintain system models, architecture views, and documentation using tools such as SPARX EA.
Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and support certification and qualification processes.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems engineering practices.
What you bring to the team:
Strong background in systems design and architecture , ideally with defense and aerospace systems.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect , ideally in a defense-related domain.
Familiarity with architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., SPARX EA) and modeling standards.
Experience with NATO Architecture Framework (NAFv4) and German defense architecture methodologies such as ADMBw is highly desirable.
A university degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science , or a related field.
Business fluency in English and German is required.
Willingness and eligibility to obtain security clearance under applicable national laws.
Why Quantum-Systems:
We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer-centric focus.
We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary.
