Lead the design and delivery of a Basel IRB credit risk platform, integrating data warehouses, risk engines, and regulatory reporting while translating complex regulatory requirements into robust technical architecture.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end‑to‑end design of a Basel IRB credit risk system, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business objectives.
- Lead workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and validate solutions.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and risk data warehouses that support PD, LGD, and EAD calculations.
- Ensure compliance with BCBS 239 data governance standards and other regulatory reporting mandates.
- Integrate risk calculation engines with enterprise systems, providing scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in banking technology architecture, with a focus on credit risk and Basel IRB.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing risk data warehouses, regulatory reporting systems, and ETL frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of PD, LGD, EAD models, credit risk data structures, and BCBS 239.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead architecture design workshops.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise integration and risk calculation engines.
