Implementation Engineer
Design, assemble, and validate hardware for solid rocket boosters, applying systems engineering, CAD, and electrical test instrumentation to ensure reliable integration and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of mechanical, electrical, and avionics hardware for solid rocket booster assemblies.
- Develop and maintain detailed CAD models and wiring diagrams to support design and build processes.
- Plan, execute, and analyze hardware test campaigns, including functional, environmental, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve integration issues and ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.
- Document test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in hardware integration and test for aerospace or defense propulsion systems.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and electrical test instrumentation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
