Software Engineer
Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of solar PV and other renewable systems for guaranteed energy savings projects, leveraging advanced modeling, data analytics, and performance contracting to deliver high‑performance, zero‑energy building solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate detailed solar PV and renewable energy system designs using industry‑standard modeling tools.
- Conduct energy modeling and building performance simulations to quantify savings and optimize system performance.
- Prepare and present technical reports, cost‑benefit analyses, and performance contract documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate renewable solutions into building design and retrofit projects.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with local codes and sustainability standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in solar PV design, energy modeling, or performance contracting.
- Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST, PVSyst).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics for performance verification.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
