Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of solar PV and energy efficiency projects, driving guaranteed savings through performance contracting and data‑driven optimization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate solar PV system designs and energy models to support Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solar solutions into building performance projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client objectives.
- Analyze performance data, conduct post‑installation monitoring, and provide actionable insights to optimize system operation and achieve projected savings.
- Prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, and feasibility studies for design/build and performance contracting engagements.
- Stay current on emerging solar technologies, permitting requirements, and best practices in sustainable building design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in solar PV design, energy modeling, or performance contracting.
- Proficiency with energy simulation tools (e.g., RETScreen, HOMER, or similar) and data analysis software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainable design and a proactive, collaborative work style.
