Software Test Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and reviewing test cases for embedded systems using MIL‑SIL‑HIL methods, MATLAB/Simulink toolchains, and V‑Cycle processes. Focus on functional and integration testing, peer reviews, and problem‑solving to ensure product reliability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for embedded software using MIL‑SIL‑HIL techniques.
- Perform manual and automated functional tests on laboratory test benches with hardware and load conditions.
- Analyze functional software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test specifications.
- Conduct technical peer reviews of test specifications and execution results.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex testing issues to unblock the team.
- Collaborate with development and integration teams throughout the V‑Cycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing for embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of MIL‑SIL‑HIL testing methodologies.
- Hands‑on expertise with MATLAB, Simulink, and Simulink Test Manager.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
