QA Engineer
Senior Software Test Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium and Java within an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality releases and continuous improvement of testing processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java to validate functional and regression requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA peers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and defect resolution workflows.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and monitor execution results, generating actionable reports.
- Perform exploratory testing, identify gaps, and propose enhancements to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Mentor junior testers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software test engineering with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficient in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG (or equivalent testing frameworks).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking systems (JIRA).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
