QA Engineer
Software Test Engineer with 2+ years of experience designing manual and automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, Java, and BDD frameworks, plus strong API testing and Agile collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile platforms using Selenium, Appium, Java, TestNG, Maven, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Create and execute comprehensive manual test cases, including sanity, integration, regression, and usability testing.
- Perform API testing for SOAP and REST services, validating request/response contracts and performance.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, product owners, and development leads to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
- Track defects, manage test execution, and report status through Jira and Zoho, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium, Appium, Java, TestNG, Maven, and Cucumber for building robust test frameworks.
- Solid understanding of API testing (SOAP/REST) and experience using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with SDLC processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
