Lead end‑to‑end test automation for packaging software, designing test plans, executing Selenium scripts in Java, and driving continuous improvement of quality processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and Java to validate functional and regression requirements.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and defect resolution workflows.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report findings through JIRA, ensuring traceability and transparency.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Git for version control and ensuring smooth build and deployment cycles.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and documentation to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software test engineering with a focus on automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and Git for source control.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
