Software Test Engineer focused on healthcare applications, responsible for designing test plans, executing functional and integration tests across web, mobile, and APIs, and ensuring quality through defect tracking and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and mobile healthcare applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, ensuring high quality and user experience across Android and iOS platforms.
- Test REST and GraphQL APIs using Postman and other API testing frameworks, validating data integrity and performance.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality and alignment with business requirements.
- Participate in Gen AI application testing, evaluating model outputs, bias, and performance within the healthcare context.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of API testing, mobile testing, and test automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with JIRA, Postman, and test management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Gen AI concepts and their application in testing is a plus.
