We're Hiring | Software Test Engineer (Banking & Digital Payments)

Position: Software Test Engineer – Manual + Automation Testing (BFSI) Location: Bangalore Work Mode: 4 Days Work From Office (Mandatory) Budget: Up to ₹18 LPA Experience: 5+ Years Job Type : Contract To Hire with Wipro Notice Period: Immediate / Early Joiners Preferred

Mandatory Skills: Hands-on experience in BFSI/Banking Domain Expertise in banking products such as: UPI, Cards, Digital Payments, Wallets, Deposits, Loans, Investments, Customer Onboarding, Open Banking/Markets

Strong experience in: .NET/Web Application Testing, Mobile Application Testing, API Testing, Functional Manual Testing

Hands-on Automation Testing using: Python, Selenium, Java, Katalon, EggPlant or equivalent frameworks.

Experience with: SDET Framework, TDD Framework, CI/CD Pipelines, Git Integration.

API Testing using Postman Knowledge of: JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr/RQM, Scrum/Agile (SAFe).

Experience analysing: GCP Transaction Logs, Interface Logs

Understanding of AI concepts: Copilot, Conversational Banking, and AI-driven Quality Engineering

Key Responsibilities: Perform Manual and Automation Testing across Web, Mobile & APIs Create Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases & Test Data Drive end-to-end testing activities independently Lead Defect Triage meetings with stakeholders Review testing metrics and improve QA processes Troubleshoot QA issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams Mentor junior QA engineers Collaborate with Development, Product and QE Managers Contribute to automation and CI/CD implementation
