QA Engineer
Software Test Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites using Python and Selenium, ensuring high‑quality releases within an Agile, CI/CD‑driven environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and Selenium.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests, analyze results, and report defects in JIRA.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand‑ups within an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Selenium or similar test automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and defect‑tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of software testing principles, test case design, and quality metrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with strong communication skills.
