Systems Engineer
Solutions‑oriented Software Systems Engineer responsible for configuring, developing, and optimizing the county's enterprise ERP platform, with a focus on HR systems, performance tuning, and cross‑departmental collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and maintain the county’s enterprise ERP platform, ensuring optimal performance for Human Resources and related modules.
- Develop and enhance integrations and extensions using C#/.NET, Python, and SQL to meet evolving business requirements.
- Monitor system health, conduct performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support.
- Document system configurations, code changes, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise ERP systems, preferably in a public‑sector environment.
- Proficiency in SQL database design and query optimization.
- Strong programming skills in C#/.NET and Python for custom development and scripting.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS) for hosting, scaling, or integrating ERP components.
