Software Engineer
Provide technical assistance and resolve software application issues for end‑users through email, chat, and phone, while collaborating with development teams and documenting solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt technical support to end‑users via email, chat, and phone, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software application issues, reproducing bugs and applying work‑arounds.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to escalate complex problems and track bug fixes.
- Maintain detailed case records, resolution steps, and knowledge‑base articles for future reference.
- Monitor support queues, prioritize tickets, and meet service‑level agreements.
Requirements
- Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in diagnosing software issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow) and remote debugging tools.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
