Software Engineer
Provide high‑quality support for core production and development applications, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement using Linux, Python, SQL and DevOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain core production and development applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers and internal engineering teams.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to implement fixes, patches, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python) for routine tasks, diagnostics, and reporting.
- Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation.
- Continuously improve support processes, knowledge base articles, and service delivery metrics.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments and command‑line tools.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL query writing for data extraction and analysis.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and ability to diagnose connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, customer‑focused attitude, and effective communication abilities.
