Software Engineer
Software Support Engineer responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting core production and development applications, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and continuous improvement across the ITS portfolio.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain core production and development applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack, collaborating with engineering and customer teams.
- Implement and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively detect and mitigate incidents.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automating repetitive tasks and enhancing deployment pipelines.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and knowledge base articles for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux system administration and containerization (Docker).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation of deployment workflows (CI/CD).
- Hands‑on knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
