Software Engineer
Lead quality assurance for automotive software, ensuring compliance with Automotive SPICE. Design and execute automated test suites, manage test artifacts, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes using Python, Selenium, and CI pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for automotive software components, ensuring alignment with Automotive SPICE requirements.
- Design, implement, and execute test cases in Python and Selenium, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, integration, and validation teams to define test strategies and traceability matrices.
- Analyze test results, report defects in JIRA, and drive root‑cause analysis to improve product quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Quality Engineer in the automotive domain, with deep knowledge of Automotive SPICE.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with Selenium or similar test automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
