QA Engineer
Software Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for designing and implementing automated test solutions, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring reliable software releases using tools such as Selenium, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance.
- Plan, organize, and track testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Identify, document, and triage defects using Jira, and work with stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentorship to junior testers and cross‑functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in test automation using Selenium or similar tools, with strong scripting skills in Python.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
