Lead the design, execution, and automation of qualification tests for aerospace software, ensuring compliance with stringent Airbus standards using Python, C/C++, and advanced test frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for aerospace software components, ensuring coverage of functional, performance, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to define test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria aligned with Airbus certification standards.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues, documenting findings in a clear, traceable manner.
- Implement and optimize test automation frameworks using Python and C/C++ to increase test efficiency and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and documentation, promoting best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing and test automation within the aerospace or high‑reliability industry.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for test development and scripting.
- Solid understanding of requirements analysis, test planning, and defect management.
- Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
