Software Engineer
Lead a QA team to design, execute, and automate test strategies using Selenium and TestNG, ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the QA team in developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG, ensuring coverage and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and resolve defects efficiently.
- Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering best practices in test design, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed defect reports, and track metrics to drive quality improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proven expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java (or equivalent language).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, JIRA, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus.
