Experienced Software Product Owner to define strategy, prioritize features, and drive productization of advanced defense software solutions, collaborating with engineering, business development, and external clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for advanced capability software, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Prioritize backlog items, write clear user stories, and ensure timely delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, business development, and external stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable development plans.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Oversee productization activities, including documentation, deployment strategies, and post‑release support.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development, preferably in defense or high‑security environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and backlog management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to bridge technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute product roadmaps, define clear acceptance criteria, and drive feature delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; security clearance preferred.
