Implementation Engineer
Lead the design and integration of low‑voltage power firmware for autonomous vehicles, driving redundancy, fault detection, and OTA power management using C++, Python, and embedded systems expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate low‑voltage power firmware for vehicle platforms, ensuring reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define vehicle behaviors, fault handling, and crash response logic.
- Implement and test redundancy and latent fault detection mechanisms for by‑wire and autonomous systems.
- Develop and maintain OTA power management features, including low/idle power modes and sleep states.
- Lead hardware bring‑up, integration, and system‑level testing to meet performance and safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in C++ and embedded firmware development for automotive or high‑reliability systems.
- Proficiency with Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis.
- Deep understanding of low‑voltage power distribution, fault detection, and OTA update mechanisms.
- Experience with hardware bring‑up, debugging, and system integration in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplines.
