About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high quality code.
- Architect and deliver robust, cloud‑native services in Python and Node.js, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security on AWS.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive technical strategy, evaluate new tools and frameworks, and mentor team members on emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent.
- Passion for innovation and a track record of delivering high‑impact products in fast‑moving environments.
