About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional engineering team delivering scalable, cloud‑native applications.
- Define and enforce Agile/Scrum processes, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality software.
- Architect and oversee development of Java‑based microservices deployed on AWS, leveraging CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive technical standards, code reviews, and best practices to maintain system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a people‑management role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Proven track record implementing Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
