About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high quality delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain tooling and automation pipelines that accelerate product development and deployment.
- Own performance optimisation initiatives across the stack, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical roadmaps and align tooling strategies with business objectives.
- Drive adoption of cloud‑native practices on AWS, ensuring secure, resilient, and cost‑effective infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Python and Node.js.
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD, performance profiling, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with performance optimisation, monitoring, and incident response is a plus.
