Engineering Manager
Lead the Software Engineering competence area in India, overseeing people and performance management while driving innovative mining and construction solutions using C++, Python and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary software engineering team within the New Product Development organization.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for mining, tunnelling and construction software solutions.
- Drive Agile practices, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality code and continuous improvement.
- Manage performance, career development, and mentorship for engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional groups (hardware, product, services) to integrate software with premium equipment and support systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, preferably in industrial or heavy‑equipment domains.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with experience delivering cloud‑enabled applications.
- Proven track record of implementing Agile methodologies and managing distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
