Lead a high‑performing engineering team building secure, scalable digital banking solutions using Python, Java, and AWS, while driving Agile practices and continuous delivery pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and deliver robust, cloud‑native banking and payments services on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives, translating business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations stakeholders to define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java, plus 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation).
- Strong background in Agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban, and experience leading sprint ceremonies.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
