Lead a high‑performing infrastructure team building scalable, secure Google Cloud solutions. Drive cloud architecture, automation, and continuous delivery while mentoring engineers and collaborating across product and operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and cost‑efficient Google Cloud environments using Kubernetes, Terraform, and other IaC tools.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability practices to accelerate delivery and reduce incidents.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to define architecture standards, performance goals, and incident response procedures.
- Own capacity planning, cost optimization, and reliability metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost‑management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
