About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on building and operating secure, scalable infrastructure for cloud security and privacy services.
- Define architecture, design patterns, and implementation strategies for large‑scale systems using languages such as Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with product, security, and privacy stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, compliant cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Drive best practices for infrastructure as code, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Ensure performance, availability, and security standards are met while managing technical debt and roadmap prioritization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience with languages such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large‑scale infrastructure, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex, security‑focused projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, privacy regulations, and best practices for secure system design.
