About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of AI/ML engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end data pipelines, ensuring robust processing, cleaning, and feature engineering for large‑scale language models.
- Drive the debugging, profiling, and performance tuning of ML models, translating research prototypes into production‑ready services on Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to define requirements, set milestones, and deliver high‑quality releases.
- Champion best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud security, while maintaining compliance with internal governance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing AI/ML engineering teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and large‑scale language model fine‑tuning.
- Proven track record building scalable data pipelines and deploying models on Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud security best practices.
