Engineering Manager
Lead the design and delivery of a unified, self‑service Kubernetes platform on‑premise, driving secure, scalable, and automated Container‑as‑a‑Service infrastructure for development teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate a secure, scalable Kubernetes platform using OpenShift Virtualization across on‑premise data centers.
- Lead a cross‑functional team to deliver self‑service capabilities, ensuring rapid provisioning and lifecycle management for developers.
- Implement automation pipelines for deployment, monitoring, and compliance, integrating CI/CD and observability tools.
- Define and enforce security best practices, including role‑based access control, network segmentation, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and operations stakeholders to continuously improve platform reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes and OpenShift platform engineering, with a strong focus on container orchestration.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering large‑scale, production‑grade infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of security principles, compliance, and on‑premise data center operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
