Lead a high‑performing engineering team to design, build, and scale eCommerce services using Java, Python, microservices, and AWS while driving Agile practices and continuous delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers delivering core eCommerce platforms.
- Define architecture and guide implementation of microservice‑based solutions on AWS.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Ensure high quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, with strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Proven track record managing engineering teams in a fast‑paced, cloud‑native environment.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
