Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high quality delivery.
- Architect and develop scalable commercial trading services on AWS using Java, Python, and microservices patterns.
- Drive Agile practices, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to define requirements, performance targets, and SLAs.
- Implement DevOps pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to maintain reliability and uptime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Java, Python, SQL, and microservices architecture.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑throughput, low‑latency trading or financial services.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD best practices.
